Copperfield Dog Grooming was opened in May, 2008 by owner and Lead Groomer, Ms. Alex Nowoselski. Her clientele now includes over 400 dogs.  We offer full grooming services to dog owners in South Calgary and surrounding towns. With a staff of two, Alexandra the trained groomer and Jane for grooming assistance & administration, we keep very busy. Alex was trained by the "Dogfather", aka Oscar Simon.  After completing her training she apprenticed with Oscar at the "Dogfather" location for more than two years. Alexandra is now in a partnership with her family. She has created her own grooming studio in her walkout basement. Working at home within her new studio she is able to give her personal attention and affection to all her dogs.  She strongly believes dogs should not be kenneled dried.  Kennel drying is when dogs are placed into enclosed kennels with attached heated dryers. All of the Copperfield Dog Grooming clients will be hand dried to ensure no overheating or stress to your dog. We have no kennels so your dog is able to roam or relax as we complete your request.  And although we love to visit with your pup we do call & expect you to "pick up" your pup as soon as your grooming request is completed. The average time is two hours depending on the type of breed & grooming request.
